Immediate past Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu, OON, has congratulated Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, on winning the Vanguard Personality Award 2024 for Good Governance.
Vanguard Newspapers, a flagship Newspaper in Nigeria on Friday, April 11, 2025 conferred on the Governor the award in an impressive ceremony held in Lagos, Nigeria.
Elumelu in his congratulatory message on Friday, praised Governor Oborevwori’s achievements, describing him as a great achiever who has demonstrated good governance since taking office less than two years ago.
He emphasized that the award coming after a similar one from THISDAY Newspapers and Arise Television in January is a clear attestation of the Governor’s genuine efforts in bringing about positive change in Delta State
Elumelu further explained that Governor Oborevwori’s administration has continued to be recognized for its efforts in driving growth and development in Delta State and said that his commitment to good governance and leadership has earned him numerous awards and accolades.
The former Minority Leader highlighted the Governor’s efforts in building enduring infrastructure across the state, implementation of life-impacting empowerment programs for Deltans and demonstrating exceptional leadership and vision for the state’s development.
