The Managing Director Of FEON Engineering Limited, Lagos, Engr, Fidel Onwodi has felicitated the Delta State Governor on his emergence as the Vice Presidential candidate and Running Mate to the PDP Presidential Candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
In his congratulatory message, Engr. Onwodi, one of the aspirant that contested for the seat of the Aniocha North Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly under the Peoples Democratic Party in the recently concluded primaries of the party in Delta State said that the picking of Senator Dr.Ifeanyi Okowa as the running Mate to the Party’s Presidential candidate was a great delight to behold.
Engr Onwodi said that Senator Okowa with his positive actions as a leading chieftain in politics and governance in Nigeria, has long been prepared for the onerous task and responsibility that has to do with the office of the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, saying that his choice by Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party was divine and in order.
While also congratulating Alhaji Atiku Abubakar for his emergence as the Presidential candidate of the PDP for the 2023 Presidential Election, the grassroots Politician also appreciated the PDP Presidential Flag bearer for finding the State Governor worthy to be picked as his running Mate and said that Senator Okowa has demonstrated more than enough Charisma, passion and sincerity to the governance of Delta State which he noted has brought about uncommon value to the living standard of the people of the State, thereby putting the State among the best in the comity of States in Nigeria.
Onwodi also recounted the Governor’s contributions to peace and stability to the leading opposition party in Nigeria and said that his choice as a running mate was in order and to the benefit of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and to a large extent, Nigeria, noting that his electoral value is unprecedented and beneficial.
Fidel Onwodi, however called on the Governor to as a matter of urgency look into grievances that arose as a result of the just concluded primaries of the Party, particularly in the various state constituencies with a view to finding lasting solutions that will at long run, bring about overwhelming victory to the party in Delta State and Nigeria at large in the forthcoming general elections, noting that Delta State remains the home of the Peoples Democratic Party.
