The Delta State Ministry of Information, on behalf of all Deltans, has congratulated Governor Sheriff Francis Orohwedor Oborevwori on his historic induction into the Urhobo Progress Union (UPU) Worldwide Hall of Fame.
The recognition, bestowed by the Urhobo nation, highlights Governor Oborevwori’s exceptional leadership and dedication to the development of Delta State and the Urhobo people.
In a statement on Monday, Dr. Ifeanyi Osuoza, on behalf of the Ministry lauded the Governor’s achievements, describing it as a testament to his commitment to the progress and unity of all Deltans.
“We also celebrate the conferment of the prestigious title, ‘Omorotomo of Urhoboland,’ by the esteemed Urhobo Traditional Rulers, an honour that symbolizes your enduring contributions to the unity and development of Urhoboland,” the Commissioner stated in the statement.
Dr. Osuoza maintained that the Governor’s achievements continues to inspire Deltans both at home and in the diaspora, describing the recognition as well-deserved and a reflection of his impactful leadership.
Osuoza extended the Ministry’s best wishes to the Governor, expressing confidence that his legacies will continue to motivate the people of Delta State.
