The Chairman, Delta State Civil Service Commission, Dame Patience Nkem Okwuofu has charged political office holders in the state to impact positively on the lives of the people, particularly those in their immediate constituency.
Dame Okwuofu stated this at the presentation of Christmas gifts, worth millions of naira to over 500 women in Ward 3, Obomkpa in Aniocha North local government area of the State by the Councilor representing the ward in the local government legislative arm, Hon Queen Ukamaka Ndubuokwu.

Dame Okwuofu, who is a renowned Political leader in the State, at the presentation ceremony which took place at the premises of her private residence in Obomkpa, promised to continue to support and encourage the younger generation to grow in politics.
The CSC Chairman, said the Dr Ifeanyi Okowa’s led administration was on the right track and determined to building lasting legacies, emphasizing the need for sustained support of Deltans to the PDP led government in the state.

Dame Okwuofu commended the Councilor representing Ward 3 Obomkpa and donor of the gift items, Hon Queen Ndubuokwu for her commitment to attracting dividends of democracy to the area.
Others who spoke at the ceremony, paid glowing tributes to Hon Queen Ndubuokwu for her positive strides in Ward 3 Obomkpa, even as they encouraged her to do more as a representative of people at the grassroots.

In a chat with Cshowcase.com, the Councilor, Hon Queen Ukamaka Ndubuokwu, said the gesture was to appreciate the women for their sustained support and love for her and the People’s Democratic Party, PDP.
“I am a councilor representing this ward and I have to appreciate my people, to celebrate with them. It is not an easy one, but at least when you have multitude of love from your people, you have to at least reciprocate them; they say that love is reciprocal.

My people love me so much and I believe so much in them, So I needed to celebrate the Christmas and the new year with them. I feel like getting them wrappers as a way of appreciating them for voting for me, loving me, for being there always for me. It is not an easy one but it is something that has to be done.
The Councilpr thanked Dame Patience Okwuofu who she described as “My Golden Mother”, for her quality leadership and for standing by her always, saying that the support would continued to spur her to do more in providing quality representation to the people.

Again, I did appreciate my Mother and mentor so much, who is always behind me to make sure that every of my plan goes through, She is the person of Chief Dame Nkem Okwuofu the Agwunwanye Gburugbulu, the Agwunwanye of the Universe. She is my Golden Mother, I love her so much because everything I know today in politics, she taught me. She is a very good mother to me and I don’t even know the way to appreciates her than to say thank you,” Hon. Qeen Ukamaka Ndubuokwu stated
Hon Ndubuokwu promised to remain a blessing to the people, stressing that Ward 3 Obomkpa would continue to experience the positive impacts of her representation at the legislative arm of Aniocha North, while urging them not to relent in their support for her and the PDP.

She expressed her immense gratitude to the PDP faithful in Ward 3 Obomkpa for their encouragement and commitment to good governance, even as she solicited for their sustained support and understanding.
“That love my people have for the PDP should be sustained, they should keep that love they have for the PDP and I urge them to remain steadfast to the Party. Once we remain united, we will continue to do great and mighty things as a people without stress. Going with the PDP is the best option,” she said.

In their reactions, some of the beneficiaries, said the tenure of Hon Queen Ndubuokwu as Councillor representing Ward 3 Obomkpa, has been characterized by positive development, saying that her proactive approach to leadership was commendable.
The women who sang songs of appreciation and offered prayers to the grassroots Lawmaker, encouraged her to maintain her constant reach to the constituents, even as they pledged their support in her drive to attracting more dividends of democracy to the area.

The highpoint of the epoch making event which was also witnessed by the Leader of Aniocha North Legislative arm, Hon Nwike Okonkwo, the Deputy Leader, Nicholas Abolo, a Supervisory Councillor in Aniocha North, Ekene Eziunor, Hon. Ajumuka, Mr. Ben Anazia and Mr Ifeanyi Eze, amongst others, was the presentation of the gift items to the beneficiaries.
