Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State has approved the appointment of Chief Nkem Okwuofu as Chairman of the State Civil Service Commission.
Chief Okwuofu’s appointment was disclosed by the Secretary to the State Government, Mr Chiedu Ebie, who also announced the appointment of three others that included Comrade Oyibo Olumami into the Commission, in a statement on Wednesday.
“it is hereby announced for the information of the general public that His Excellency, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, has approved the appointment of the following persons as members of the Civil Service Commission.
“Chief Mrs Nkem Okwuofu (Chairman), Mrs Rosaline Amioku , Comrade Oyibo Olumami, Dr Lawrence Pemu, Mr Mike Oputa – Members.
“The swearing-in ceremony of the above mentioned commission will take place at the Exco Chambers, Government House on Monday, 12th October, 2020 at 10 am.”
