The Organization for the Advancement of Anioma Culture (OFAAC) has begun its traditional royal visits and courtesy calls in preparation for the 2025 Anioma Cultural Festival.
This year’s event is scheduled to take place on Monday, April 21, 2025, (Easter Monday) in Asaba.
A delegation led by the Obi of Ubulu-Uno Kingdom, His Royal Majesty Obi Kikachukwu, visited the Obi of Owa Kingdom, Obi (Dr.) Emmanuel Efeizemor II, in his Palace in Owa.
The President of OFAAC, Arc Kester Ifeadi, praised the monarch for his commitment and support, and was subsequently conferred with the title of Grand Patron of the Organization.
Obi (Dr.) Efeizemor commended OFAAC for giving Anioma its deserved identity and pledged his commitment to mobilizing other traditional rulers from Delta North to ensure the festival’s success.
The team also visited Chief Newton Jibunoh, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of OFAAC, who promised to continue supporting the Organization.
The OFAAC delegation included Vice President Mr. Paddy Ugboh, directors, and other members such as Chief Linus Osemene, Prince Andrew Obi, and Comrade Alex Akpuh.
