Nwaozomor Grace Foundation Secures Release of 16 Inmates from Port Harcourt Correctional Centre

In a remarkable display of philanthropy, the Nwaozomor Grace Foundation has facilitated the release of 16 inmates from the Port Harcourt Correctional Centre in Rivers State.

The inmates, who were unable to pay their fines, were granted freedom on Friday, March 14, 2025, thanks to the Foundation’s intervention.

According to Pastor Daniel Nwaozomor, Chairman and CEO of the Foundation, the release was part of the organization’s efforts to celebrate his birthday, which was marked on January 28, 2025.

The Foundation paid the necessary fines after months of advocacy and collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

“This achievement demonstrates our commitment to upholding human rights, promoting rehabilitation, and providing a second chance to those who have served their terms,” Pastor Nwaozomor said.

The Foundation has pledged to rehabilitate and reintegrate the former inmates into society. To achieve this, they have provided counseling services through a renowned Man of God based in Port Harcourt.

Pastor Nwaozomor expressed the Foundation’s gratitude to government agencies and the authorities of the Port Harcourt Correctional Centre for their support.

The Nwaozomor Grace Foundation has a history of empowering marginalized, the Poor, vulnerable and lass privileged in the Society.

In 2024, the Foundation empowered over 300 skilled youths in Aniocha North Local Government Area, Delta State, with ₦500,000 each to start small-scale businesses.

The Foundation’s efforts demonstrate its dedication to providing hope and opportunities to those in need.As Pastor Nwaozomor emphasized, “We believe in the ability of these individuals to make a positive impact in their communities, and we urge the public to welcome them back into society.”
