Nwaobi Congratulates Diai On Appointment As Delta Acting Chief Judge

The Member representing Aniocha North State Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Engr. Emeka Emmanuel Nwaobi has felicitated with Hon. Justice Theresa Ogorchukwu Diai on her appointment as the Acting Chief Judge of Delta State.

Hon. Nwaobi in a statement on Tuesday, said, her appointment and swearing-in by the State Governor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa was well deserved and ordained to happen.

He described Justice Theresa Diai as an erudite jurist who has contributed greatly to the development of the judiciary, adding that her elevation to the highest position, even in acting capacity is an attestation of her outstanding achievements.

Hon. Nwaobi therefore, urged her to use her wealth of experience to bring to bear judicial equity and objectivity in the administration of Justice in the State, while noting that GOD who made it possible for her to be so appointed would guide and direct her as she goes about her function as the head of the Judicial Arm of Government in Delta State.

The Honourable Member, commended the State Governor for finding her worthy and said that the people of Aniocha North whom he represents would continue to uphold her in prayers as she discharges her duties in this new assignment.

“Let me on behalf of our people in Aniocha North Local Government Area, congratulate Your Lordship on your appointment as the Acting Chief Judge of Delta State.

“Your appointment, without doubt, is a sensitive and responsible one that needs divine assistance and directions. As our  sister, we will not relent in upholding you in our prayers with a view to seeing that you continue to make us proud.

“May GOD grant you the wisdom to discharge your duty honestly, transparently and in the fear of GOD, even as we pray that the best of you continues to emerge in your chosen career,” Hon. Nwaobi stated.
