The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of FEON Engineering Nigeria Limited, Lagos, Engr. Fidel Onwodi on Monday January 3, 2022, had a get together with widows in Aniocha North Local Government Area.
The event geared towards celebrating the New Year with the widows was held at Issele-Mkpitime, the home town of Engr. Fidel Onwodi.
Widows drawn from the 17 communities in the Local Government area, participated in the New Year get together.
Speaking at the event, Engr. Fidel Onwodi said the affairs of widows’ remains critical in God’s agenda, saying that God will continue to take care of them even as he had made it possible for them to see the beginning of the New Year.
“God who made it possible for you to see this Year will ensure your sustenance. He will not forsake you, he will not abandon you and your family,” Engr. Onwodi said.
Onwodi renowned for his love for the people, said because God remains husband to the widows, he will continue to use people like him to ensure that their welfare is taken care of, noting that the event was his humble way of identifying and celebrating the New Year with them.
Engr. Fidel Onwodi who is also the Chairman of Duke Marine Services Ltd, Lagos, assured that he will continue to make his self available to ensure the welfare of the widows, saying that as a man who lost his father at a tender age, he knew what widows go through every day to take care of their families.
Bags of rice, wrappers and cash gift items, were presented and distributed among the widows amid praise and worship to the Lord God Almighty.
The widows, who were visibly elated, expressed their joy and offered prayers to Engr. Fidel Onwodi for his magnanimity and kindness.
