Ndokwa-West: Council Boss Meets Local Education Authority’s Management … Sues for Cooperation, Support

The Executive Chairman of Ndokwa-West Local Government, Hon. Godday Obi Nzete, has met with the management of the Local Education Authority in the area and sued for their support and co-operation towards the smooth running of the educational system in the area.

Hon. Nzete spoke on Wednesday, 24th March, 2021 in a meeting with management of the Ndokwa-West Local Education Authority led by the Executive Secretary, Mr. Austin Osademe, at the Executive Chairman’s Office, Kwale, Delta State.

The Council boss noted that the Education authority was a critical component of the local government council and called for a comprehensive report of their operations, with a view to knowing the details of primary schools in the Local Government area and the total number of it’s workforce.

He also requested for a report of the activities of the Local Education Authority between January and March 2021, as well as disbursement of funds to them within that period, saying that the information was urgently needed for his administration’s policy formulation.

Responding, the Executive Secretary, Ndokwa-West Education Authority, Mr. Austin Osademe congratulated Hon. Obi Nzete on his election as the Chairman of the Local Government and assured the Council boss of the co-operation  and support of Management and Staff of the Local Education Authority, towards bringing about quality and quantitative education to the Area.

He also promised to provide the needed information, as requested by the Council Chairman.
