LG Election: Onicha-Olona Holds Carnival of Higher Dimension For Illustrious Son, Emma Chinye

At the PDP campaign rally held on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 in Onicha-Olona, home community of the incoming Chairman of Aniocha North Local Government, Hon. Emma Bazim Chinye, it was a higher dimension of carnival as the people came out en masse to give their overwhelming support to their illustrious son.

Hon. Chinye and the campaign trail which included the immediate past Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon Ndudi Godwin Elumelu, did not come to canvass support or vote from the people of Onicha-Olona, it was just to throw up a carnival of appreciation.

Kick-starting the appreciation was the Agunwanyi of Politics, Chief Nkem Okwuofu who said, because she had endorsed Hon. Emma Chinye, nothing untoward would happen to him as far as the July 13 Local Government election is concerned.

She thanked the people of Onicha-Olona, especially the Umu-Namakili Quarters for producing such a productive, ebullient, resilient, energetic, outspoken and goal oriented son like Emma Chinye.

Supporting Agunwanyi’s submissions as the mother of all, another political leader, mother extraordinaire, member of the Delta State Elders and Advisory Council and former Chairman of Delta State House of Assembly Service Commission, Chief (Barr) Mrs. Josephine Ada Kachikwu said the campaign was a moment of unification, insisting that peace, unity and love have come to stay in Aniocha North politics.

She called on Hon. Emma Chinye to lead as the true first citizen of Aniocha North and with the fear of God. Additionally, she urged him to remain humble, open-hearted and ensure that everybody is given their due respect, not disregarding the fact that he is a leader that should not be tossed up and down.

For the chairman of the PDP campaign council and Majority Leader of Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Engr. Emeka Nwaobi, it was a good opportunity to dance to the victory ahead.

He asked Onicha-Olona people not to fail their son, the PDP and Aniocha North people.

In a nutshell, at the time the incoming Chairman, Hon. Emma Chinye, his wife, Mrs. Martina Chinye, his Vice, Lady Nneka Dibia came out to greet the people, it became a carnival of super higher dimension.

Nobody was spared by the penetrating vibes from the loud sounding music, as everybody danced to the fullest in honour of the “Man We know”.

The joy was so much that Hon. Emma Chinye could not say much to his people, other than to urge them to come out in their totality on July 13 to cast their vote for the PDP as a mark of their support to his vision of rebuilding Aniocha North through G.A.I.N.S.

Equally, personalities of varying hierarchy from different walks of life graced the grand finale at Onicha-Olona, all for the “Man We Know”, Hon. Emma Bazim Chinye.
