Delta State Commissioner for Works (Highways & Urban Roads), Engr. Noel Omodon, has said that the 160 metres Koka interchange in Asaba, the state capital, would be completed and delivered to the state government by the end of 2022.
Engr. Omodon disclosed while responding to the fears by some concerned Deltans that the project would not be completed by the end of the present administration in the state.
According to him, “the Governor Okowa led administration is committed and desirous of completing all on-going road projects across the state before the end of this administration.”
He stated that the contracting firm, handling the project was capable and committed, going by its track records, exhibited in executed projects in the past, stressing that there was no reason for anxiety.
He thanked Gladys Osadebe who had raised the fear of a possible abandonment of the project for her concerns in the implementation of government projects, pointing out that such concerns and observations would lead to the delivery of quality road construction in the state.
