There was an atmosphere of immense Joy in Aniocha North Local Government Area, Delta State on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 as the Executive Chairman of the Local Government, Hon. Emmanuel Bazim Chinye inaugurated people oriented projects executed by his administration.
Hon Chinye led officials of the Local Government to seven communities where the projects were located to inaugurate them for the use of the benefitting communities.
The projects inaugurated included water borehole with stanchion complemented with distribution points and a power generating set in Issele-Asagba, the remolded and reconstructed 100 open market stalls in Obior as well as the reconstructed 20 lockup shops, newly constructed toilets facilities including soakaway pits with underground water reservoir complemented with stanchion, water distribution points and a power generating set at Issele-Mkpitime market, and the perimeter fenced Primary Health Care centre also in Issele-Mkpitime
The Council boss also inaugurated the newly constructed block of six units of toilet facilities with two bathrooms, a water borehole complemented with stanchion, water distribution points and a power generating set at Iyi Ogbe Primary School, Onicha-Olona.
The renovated perimeter fencing of Iyi Ogbe Primary School, Onicha-Olona was also commissioned.
Chinye in the same vein inaugurated the renovated seven units of toilet facilities with two bathrooms, a new water borehole complemented with stanchion, water distribution points and a power generating set at Ugba Primary School (I) as well as six units of toilet facilities at Ugba Primary School (2) also in Onicha-Olona.
Also commissioned was the re-constructed two blocks of six classrooms and toilet facilities in Aniocha North Local Government Nursery and Primary School, Ugbodu
The Council Chairman, accompanied by officials of the Local Government that included the Vice Chairman, Hon. Nneka Clara Dibia was at Idumu-Ogo where the newly constructed and furnished Community Town Hall was commissioned for the use of the people of Idumu-Ogo.
The commissioning activities were rounded up at the Council’s Secretariat in Issele-Uku where the Executive Chairman formally presented, on behalf of the Local Government, two newly purchased security vehicles to the two Divisional Police Officers (DPO) in the Council area; Issele-Uku and Onicha-Olona Police Divisions.
Hon. Chinye and members of his entourage paid courtesy calls to traditional rulers in each of the communities.
Former Deputy Governor of the State, Chief Benjamin Elue and other notable leaders of the Local Government Area, commissioned the projects by formal cutting of the tape at the various communities.
Speaking at the event, Hon Chinye said the initiation, execution and inauguration of the projects were in fulfillment of his election campaign promises and in line with the MORE GAINS mantra of his administration. He noted the MORE GAINS mantra as an extension of the MORE Agenda of the State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Francis Oborevwore, for the people of Aniocha North.
Chinye appreciated the Governor for his proactive leadership of the State and described him as “The Infrastructure Governor With Capacity”, even as he revealed that the Governor’s exceptional efforts in the overall development of the State has continued to inspire him to do More for the People of Aniocha North.
The renowned Council boss explained that all projects, being initiated, executed and inaugurated in the various communities in the area are people oriented projects, geared towards benefitting everybody in the communities.
He said that the presentation of the security vehicles to the two Divisional Police Officers (DPOs) in the area was in line with his administration’s commitment and determination to intensify measures towards curtailing the activities of criminal elements in the area.
He assured that a similar gesture would be extended to other security agencies in the Local Government Area.
While commending the people of Aniocha North for their unwavering support for the State Government as well as his administration in the Local Government, Hon Emma Chinye assured the people of the area MORE GAINS.
In each of the communities, the people expressed their satisfaction with Hon. Emma Bazim Chinye’s people oriented administration at the Local Government and assured him of their continued support and prayers.
