Ima Niboro Statement: APC IS ONLY DECEIVING ITSELF, THEIR SUPPORTERS – Delta PDP

PRESS STATEMENT

APC IS ONLY DECEIVING ITSELF AND THEIR SUPPORTERS

Our attention has been drawn to a puerile and totally misleading statement by Ima Niboro, Director, Communications and Media Strategy, Delta APC Campaign Council, issued on March 19, 2023 and titled: “Breaking: Delta APC takes comfortable lead as collation of governorship, assembly polls progresses”.

We are not surprised by this silly, infantile, and outdated publicity stunt and tactics, which is only aimed at justifying what they have already cooked up in Oghara Wards 7 & 8 and Mosogar, Ethiope West Local Government Area, and what they are now cooking in Orogun Wards 1 & 2 and several other areas in Ughelli North Local Government Area and elsewhere in the State.

These falsified numbers and concocted manipulation of figures are not the original BVAS Results already recorded at the polling units and of course, will definitely not stand the test of time.

As a responsible political party, we have always believed that you don’t count your chickens before they hatch. We also understand the fact that APC is only trying to give its supporters hope and create an atmosphere of grand illusion with their delusional fantasies of non-existent victory. But they are only deceiving themselves and their supporters, and as the saying goes, a drowning man will even clutch at a serpent to save himself.

We, therefore, urge our teeming supporters to remain calm and disregard the misinformation and negative propaganda coming out from the camp of the APC. It is their usual way of setting the stage for their expected wailing and gnashing of teeth when the final results are called.

We nor dey shake for PDP.

Dr. Ifeanyi Osuoza,
Deputy Director, Media & Publicity,
Delta PDP Campaign Council/ State Publicity Secretary,
Delta State PDP.
