State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Delta State Olorogun Barr. Kingsley Esiso has said that Hon. Emma Bazim Chinye, the Party’s Chairmanship candidate for Aniocha North Local Government Area in the forthcoming Council election in the State has what it takes to rebuild the ares and bring MORE GAINS to the people.
Barr. Esiso made this affirmation on Monday July 1, 2024 at the State PDP campaign rally in Aniocha North Local Government Area, held at Issele-uku, the administrative headquarters of the Local Government Area.
Esiso described Hon. Chinye as his personal friend who is well known to him, and vouched that the man has the capacity and dexterity to deliver as chairman of the Council.
According to him, before handing the party’s flag to him, “I can tell you that Emma Chinye has capacity for leadership, that he is a man of competence and ability. He is my friend and so, I can attest to him having the capacity and passion to bring deliverables to the people of Aniocha North if voted as chairman”, Esiso affirmed.
In his remark, former Deputy Governor of the State, Chief BSC Elue, said Aniocha North is a safe haven for the PDP, thereby urging all and sundry to join hands to deliver Hon. Emma Chinye and others in the forthcoming Local Government election.
He applauded the State leadership of PDP for their superb and outstanding organisation of the campaigns, assuring them that the candidates would not disappoint them. He added that they were selected from a credible process and as such, all hands must be on deck to give the best of their votes to the PDP.
Also speaking at the rally, immediate past Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu, revealed that for the first time in a long time, leaders in Aniocha North spoke in one voice towards the endorsement of Hon. Emma Chinye (The Man We Know).
He said, “Let me welcome our chairman and his entourage to Aniocha North; a land of peace. This is the first time that peace is returning to Aniocha North. Our leaders sat down to select the man we know to lead us at the Council level.
“I want to let you know that Hon. Emma Chinye and all the candidates standing in the election on July 13 are humble people. For Emma Chinye, he will represent everybody and his office will be open to all.
“It is also our resolve that all the wards will be delivered hundred percent to the PDP. Hon. Emma Chinye will sit on the seat meant for him, and peace will continually reign in Aniocha North”, Elumelu posited.
On his part, the chairman of the PDP Campaign Organization in Aniocha North and Majority Leader of the State House of Assembly, Hon. Engr. Emeka Nwaobi assured the State Chairman that the local government is ready to deliver fully to the PDP.
He said for Okada Riders Association to wedge kolanut for the chairman, attested to the fact that everybody living in Aniocha North wants change and believes in the PDP to bring the change they seek.
He boasted that PDP would deal mercilessly with any other political parties who would want to rub shoulders with the PDP as far as the Local Government Election is concerned.
Welcoming the State Party Chairman and other leaders of the Party to Aniocha North, the Chairman of the Party in Aniocha North, Dr. Charles Ochei said PDP in the area has done it before and assured that they are poised to do it again.
“God’s willing, our resolve and result will be one of the best in the State,” Dr. Ochei assured.
The State Party Chairman , Olorogun Barrister Kingsley Esiso later, presented the Party’s flag to the Chairmanship candidate of the Party in the area, Hon. Emma Chinye and the vice Chairmanship Candidate, Lady Clara Nneka Dibia as the PDP flag bearers for the July 13th Council election.
It was a well attended campaign rally that had leaders of note in Aniocha North in attendance.
