The Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon Ndudi Elumelu appreciates the people of Delta State for coming out enmasse to demonstrate their support for the PDP Presidential Candidate, His Excellency Atiku Abubakar, and his running mate, the performing Governor of Delta State, His Excellency Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa at the PDP Presidential Rally today in Asaba, Delta State Capital
The Minority Leader and Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency PDP House of Representative Candidate, in a Thank You Message to Deltans said that the massive crowd at the rally “reaffirms the love, confidence and trust Deltans have in Atiku Abubakar and Sen. Ifeanyi Okowa as the leaders with the required integrity, experience, capacity and competence to rescue and rebuild our nation at this critical time.
“The people of Delta have once more demonstrated their love for Governor Okowa who they believe will bring his competence and excellent performance with which he achieved massive development in Delta State to bear at the national level as Vice President of Nigeria.
Elumelu appreciated the people of Delta State for their irrevocable decision to massively vote for the PDP and elect all candidates in the Presidential, Senatorial, House of Representatives, Governorship and State House of Assembly elections under the unnegotiable 5/5 declaration.
The Minority Leader also thanked the people of Delta State, particularly his Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency for their established consensus to re-elect him to the House of Representatives in the February 25 National Assembly election.
“I therefore urge other political parties to read the handwriting on the wall and accept their inevitable defeat in all the elections in Delta State, as the people have decided and rightly so, to vote only for PDP candidates across all tiers of the 2023 general elections, in recognition of the sterling performances of the PDP and its candidates as all levels.
The Minority Leader applauded Governor Okowa for his outstanding organizational skill with which he put every measure in place to ensure the success of the mega rally.
He thanked the PDP National Executive Committee, PDP Governors’ Forum, PDP Board of Trustees, PDP National and Delta State Assembly members, the National Campaign Council, the Delta State Presidential Campaign Council, critical stakeholders, teeming members and supporters of the PDP as well as the generality of the people of Delta for the success of the rally.
