Immediate past Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu, OON has sympathized with the Delta State Governor on the passage of his Mother in-law, Madam Agnes Ayetoma.
Elumelu in a statement on Monday said the news of the demise of Madam Agnes Ayetoma was a sad one, but with understanding of the fact that nothing happens without the knowledge of God.
He also sympathized with the wife of the Governor and the First Lady of the State, Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori and said the State as a whole has lost a great woman.
He said no doubt, Madam Agnes Ayetoma would be greatly missed by the First Family, especially her motherly counsel, urging them to be consoled with the truth that she died fulfilled and accomplished.
The Rt. Hon Ndudi Elumelu prayed to God to give the late Madam Agnes Ayetoma sweet repose and grant the Governor, the wife and the entire Ayetoma family the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable and irreparable loss.
“On behalf of my beloved wife and the Elumelu family, we convey our deepest sympathy and share with you in this your moment of grief.
“We urge you to find solace in the Lord God Almighty and be comforted with the truth that Mama lived and spent her life well.
“Eternal repose grant unto her, O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon her and may her Soul and the Souls of all the faithful departed, through the Mercy of God rest in peace. Amen,” Elumelu prayed.
