The Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu, has been commended for justifying the mandate given to him by the people of Aniocha /Oshimili Federal Constituency to represent them in the House of Representatives.
Hon. Pascal Adigwe, a former member of the House, who represented the Federal Constituency between 2003 and 2007, gave the commendation in an open letter of appreciation and commendation to Rt Hon. Elumelu, for his proactive representation. which was posted on his verified Social media handle and Facebook page.
Hon. Adigwe, presently a Senior Special Adviser to the Delta State Governor, said in the letter, that they have no regrets joining forces together as a people to send Elumelu to the National Assembly with an overwhelming victory, noting that the Minority Leader has proven him right that, “there’s no good person born of our blood that would fail us especially given the right tools and opportunity.
“You have justified the mandate we the people of Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency freely gave to you. I and many others are in awe how you achieved all these, from ICT Centers to Town halls, amongst other outstanding projects
“The most amazing is that while you are very present at the Chamber and Abuja political arenas, in fulfillment of your core Legislative mandate, you have equally made it your personal mandate to always come home and at every occasion, giving support with your physical and morale boosting presence to our amiable Governor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, our Champion.
“As a lawmaker and one whose penchant for delivering developmental projects is huge, I sincerely wonder albeit secretly, where and how you root out these projects and how you share yourself to satisfy these presence and services to our people and place.
“These are rare and I thought the only way and resource available to me for now is to say it as it is and further join the appreciative people of our constituency and beyond, to give this weighted commendation and express this appreciation to you to the glory of God,” Hon Pascal Adigwe stated.
He prayed God to bless the Federal Lawmaker and empower him to do more for the people of Aniocha Oshimili Federal Constituency, Delta State and Nigeria in general, even as he urged him to remain resolute and committed, saying that uneasy lies the head that wears the crown.
“I also use this medium and opportunity to appeal and enjoin our other representatives and persons in power, position and opportunity to emulate these giant strides and put in their best to attract projects and opportunities to our people and place, as these things remain indelible in the tablets of our hearts and politics,” the former Federal Lawmaker urged.
