Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon Ndudi Elumelu has presented brand new 500kva electricity transformers to three communities in Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency, Delta State.
This is in prompt fulfillment of his promise when he visited the communities along with the State PDP Campaign train during their Ward Campaigns in Delta North Senatorial District in December last year.
The communities include Okwe and Cable Point, Asaba in Oshimili South Local Government Area as well as Okpanam in Oshimili North Local Government Area of the State.
The communities had during the visit complained of disruption of electricity power supply to due to faulty and irreparable transformers upon which Hon. Elumelu, who represents Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives promised to replace the transformers to enable the Electricity Distribution Company, reconnect the communities to the national grid.
In fulfillment of the promise, Hon. Elumelu represented, by Ms. Bridget Modebe, Senior Legislative aide in his office, in a brief but memorable ceremony on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 presented the transformers to the jubilant communities.
Receiving the transformers, representative of the communities, commended Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu for always keeping to his words adding that he has remained steadfast, sincere and proactive in representing of the people of Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency in the National Assembly.
“With the replacement of the faulty transformers, electricity power supply will be restored and I tell you, by this, Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu has again proved to be a great Man of the people who is always sensitive to their plights.
“We cried to him; he had us and today he has fulfilled the promise he made to us about five weeks ago. He came, he saw and he conquered as always. He is a true definition of people’s representative,” he remarked.
The communities also applauded Hon. Elumelu for his numerous other constituency infrastructural projects in the areas of road, electricity, housing, healthcare, agriculture, transportation, education among others as well as appointments, job placements, capacity building trainings and massive economic empowerment of constituents across the Federal Constituency in various vocations and businesses.
The Communities restated the determination of the people of Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency to re-elect Hon. Elumelu to the House of Representatives to continue in his good works and excellent representation in the National Assembly.
