The Chairman of the Delta State Local Government Service Commission, Hon. Dcn. Joseph Otirhue, has assured nurses in the Unified Local Government Service that he will address the challenges they face.
This promise was made during a courtesy visit by the Chairman of the National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives (NANNM), Delta State Chapter, Comrade Philomena Onokpuvie and members of her Executives to the Commission’s office in Asaba.
Hon. Otirhue commended the nurses for their dedication to duty despite facing hardships and deprivation.
He pledged to investigate the issues raised by the nurses, demonstrating his commitment to their welfare and wellbeing.
Comrade Onokpuvie expressed her appreciation for the Chairman’s supportive role in the affairs of nurses. To mark her birthday, she presented an award to Hon. Otirhue in recognition of his dedication to the nurses’ wellbeing.
