The Delta State Local Government Service Commission, has commiserated with the family of late Mr.Austin Onokpasa.
The Chairman of the Commission Hon.(Dcn) Joseph Otirhue, who led a delegation of the management team of the Commission to the family house of the deceased at Sapele, was received by the Executive Chairman of Sapele Local Government alongside the HPM of the Council, the HPMs of both Okpe and Warri South West Local Government Councils, the elder brother of late Mr. Austin Onokpasa as well as some senior staff of Sapele Local Government Council.
Speaking at the condolence visit, the Commission Boss expressed grief over the demise of Mr. Austin Onokpasa who until his sudden death was the Head of Personnel Management (HPM) of Isoko North Local Government Council.
While expressing his grief, Otirhue recounted the moments the deceased worked with him and the good attributes he exhibited while he was alive, he said no one can question God on why Mr Onokpasa should leave this world now, adding that God knows best, even as he encouraged the family to be comforted in the Almighty God as he is the only one who can console them in this period of mourning.
Otirhue further urged everyone to live exemplary lives while there is still time, noting that no one knows the moment death will knock on the door, saying that death remains debt owed by every living being.
The highlight of the visit was the signing of the Condolence register and prayers offered to God for the family.
