The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP’s campaign trail in Aniocha North Local Government Area, has continued to get better as the campaign team received an overwhelming ovation today, Wednesday 26th June, 2024, from the people of Aniofu, Idumuje-Unor and Onicha-Uku communities.
It was indeed a campaign of endorsement as the people of these communities celebrated the man known as a grassroots champion, Hon. Emma Bazim Chinye, and promised to deliver their votes 100 percent to the PDP to ensure a landslide victory.
Thanking them and soliciting further cooperation from them, the Chairman of the Campaign Council and Majority Leader of Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Engr. Emeka Nwaobi eulogized them for their consistency in supporting the PDP.
He assured them of the Party’s highly democratic system of ensuring the welfare of its members and the governed, begging them never to make the mistake of trusting any other political party other than the PDP into power.
Joining Nwaobi in canvassing votes from the people, the immediate past Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu commended them for their show of love to the leaders and Representatives of the PDP, assuring them that a new version of progress has been opened in Aniocha North.
He called on all and sundry to give their maximum support to Hon. Emma Chinye’s candidacy and that of the Vice Chairmanship candidate, Lady Nneka Clara Dibia and all the Councillorship candidates of the party.
Meanwhile, at the various communities visited, the Chairman of PDP in Aniocha North, Dr. Charles Ochei received decampees from other political parties into PDP.
He advised them to work honestly with the PDP, assuring them that whatever is due them will always get to them without discrimination.
Leading the campaigns of the day were eminent leaders of the party, which include the Mother of Government, Chief Nkem Okwuofu, immediate past Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu, Chairman of Campaign Council and Majority Leader of Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Engr. Emeka Nwaobi, former Majority Leader of Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Chief Krees Njiokwuemeni, Chairman of Aniocha North PDP, Dr. Charles Ochei, DG of Campaign Council, Hon. Jaunty Okwudi, Commissioner for Information, Dr. Ifeanyi Osuoza, Commissioner for Science and Technology, Hon. Daniel Odinigwe Odigie, Chief Job and Wealth Creation Officer of the State, Comrade Ifeanyi Egwunyenga, Immediate Past Council Chairman, Hon. Kelvin Okwechime and others too numerous to mention.
