The Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu has felicitated members of the Pilgrim Baptist Mission/Association of the Anioma Delta Baptist Conference, on the auspicious occasion of the Centenary Celebration of the Pilgrim Baptist Mission.
Elumelu in a statement on Saturday August 27, 2022, noted and appreciated the immense contribution of the Mission to the transformation of humanity.
He eulogized the founder of the Mission, Rev. Dr. S. W. Martin for being visionary and said that the legacies of his Mission cut across Edo and Delta States, particularly the present day Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency, which he represents in the House of Representatives.
“We are grateful for the Mission’s human capital and infrastructural development within Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency in particular and Edo/Delta States in general.
“As a people, there is no doubt that we have benefited immensely from the fountain of this great missionary and Iconic spiritual leader and we will continue to build on the solid foundation that he laid.
“As we join you to celebrate the life and times of our Father, the Rev. Dr. S. W. Martin, I urge you to continue in the ideals, values and enduring legacies of his great Mission to the glory of God and service to humanity.”
