Atiku Abubakar Will Bring Back Nigeria’s Lost Glory – Elumelu

Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu has said that the Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has all it takes to bring back the lost glory of Nigeria as he gets elected as the next President of the country, come February 25, 2023.

Elumelu lamented that Nigeria lost its glory at the exit of PDP from power in 2015 but assured that “such national glory for which Nigeria is known across the world will be restored with the return of PDP to power and Atiku Abubakar on the saddle as President.”

The Minority Leader who spoke to journalists at the Delta State PDP Rally in Ika, Delta State said Nigerians as well as the International Community are eager to have an experienced, competent and strong-willed leader like Atiku Abubakar to lead the country back to glory.

“Atiku Abubakar is the only candidate that has the required relevant experience, competence, connection, vigour, presence of mind and will-power to lead our nation, reestablish our economy, guarantee security of lives and property, unify the nation and restore our glory and pride as a nation.

“Nigeria has never been as divided as it is now under the All Progressives Congress (APC) administration given the alarming level economic devastation, insecurity and the disunity amongst the various components of the nation. We need an exceptionally committed leader like Atiku Abubakar to fix the situation”, Elumelu said.

The Minority Leader asserted that Atiku Abubakar’s recent visits to the United Kingdom and other foreign country was to reassure the Government of those countries as well as seek stronger ties towards the attainment of his goal of rescuing, unifying and rebuilding our nation.

Elumelu who has always been with the PDP Presidential Candidate on his foreign visits assured that such visits have been yielding the desired results which will translate into social, economic and security gains for the nation, immediately Atiku Abubakar takes office in May 2023.

He disclosed that Atiku Abubakar has been having very fruitful discussions with global stakeholders on solutions to issues of insecurity, terrorism, economy, education and poverty in Nigeria.

According to him, “Nigeria used to be the giant of Africa in all sense of the word but we lost that glory with the emergence of the APC in 2015. The situation is not only challenging to Nigeria as a nation but also to Africa as a continent and the global community at large. That is why the global community is having serious interest in who leads Nigeria from May 29, 2023.

“The world is looking forward to Nigeria to take back its leading and stabilizing role but we can only realize that if we have Atiku Abubakar on the saddle as President of Nigeria. That is why the global community is interested in him. You know that we are in a global society which cannot afford to allow Nigeria to derail because it will mean the whole Africa continent derailing.

“So that is why our Presidential Candidate, His Excellency, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, GCON, the incoming President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria by the grace of God and by the Will of Nigerians, was in London and some other countries of the world to meet with their Governments and communicate with them; to let them know what we have and also let them know that the candidate that we have is the best candidate that can hit the ground running immediately he is elected,” the Minority Leader revealed.

He also revealed that such visits enabled the PDP Presidential Candidate to strengthen the support of Nigerians in the Diaspora who he noted contributes greatly to the country’s GDP through their remittances and investments
