Anioma Delta Baptist Conference Set for 11th Annual Session

The Anioma Delta Baptist Conference of the Nigerian Baptist Convention is gearing up for its 11th Annual Session, scheduled to take place from Thursday, February 20 to Sunday, February 23, 2025.

The event will be held at the Main Worship Auditorium of the Divine Way Baptist Church, Asaba, Delta State, Nigeria.

Over 5,000 delegates from various local Baptist denominations within the Delta North district are expected to attend the annual session, which promises to be a spiritually enriching experience.

This year’s theme, “Manifesting His Presence,” will be presided over by His Lordship, Rev’d Dr. Dike Godspower Utih, Spiritual Leader and President of the Anioma Delta Baptist Conference. Notably, this will be Dr. Utih’s first annual session as Conference President since assuming office in June last year.

The Special Guest Speaker for the occasion will be His Lordship, Rev’d Dr. Israel Adelani Akanji, FAR, President and Spiritual Leader of the Nigerian Baptist Convention.

Other esteemed ministers scheduled to speak at the conference include Rev’d Dr. Monday Opone; Chairman of the Anioma Delta Baptist Conference, Rev’d Dr. Chika Ossai-Ugbah; Chaplain MMU Nigerian Baptist Convention, Rev’d Dr. Timothy Olu Aibinuomo; Central Baptist Church, Benin-City, and Rev’d Chukwudi Ossaiga; Moderator Messiah Baptist Association, Asaba, Delta State.

The Anioma Delta Baptist Conference Mass Choir will provide music ministry throughout the 3-day event.

Senior officials of the Delta State Government are expected to attend the opening session on Thursday, which will commence at 10:00 am. The various organs of the Conference, including the Men’s Missionary Union (MMU), Women’s Missionary Union (WMU), and Youth Fellowship, will hold their meetings immediately after the opening session.

The Conference President and Spiritual Leader, Rev’d Dr. Dike Utih, urges all members to prepare and pray towards active participation, seeking a refreshing presence of the Lord God Almighty throughout the annual session.

The general public is cordially invited to attend and experience the manifest presence of God, connect with like-minded believers, and be refreshed and rejuvenated in the Lord.
