Council Chairmen in the Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency in Delta State, have showered encomiums of appreciation to the Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Rt.Hon. Ndudi Elumelu, for his people oriented representation at the National Assembly, saying that his actions and activities at the 9th National Assembly of the House, have continued to bring joy and smiles to the faces of their Constituents in their various Local Government Areas.
In a chat with cshowcasenews.com on the recent empowerment programme of the Minority Leader, some of the Council Chairmen described Elumelu, who represents the Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, as a big brother, who has become a great source of help and an epitome of empowerment to the people of the Federal Constituency.
They commended him for his bold steps in infrastructure development in the various communities in Aniocha/Oshimili and said that his representation at the National Assembly, has brought the dividend of democracy closer to the people, even as they urged him to be relentless in his efforts in saturating the entire Federal Constituency with people oriented projects.
According to these leaders of the Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency, namely the Chairman of Oshimili South, Hon. Obi Kelvin Ezenyili , Chairman of Aniocha South, Hon. Pastor Jude Chukwunweike and Chairman of Aniocha North, Hon Kevin Okwechime, Elumelu has demonstrated selflessness, passion and uncommon capacity in his representation of the people, even as they pledged to continue to support him and pray that God will strengthen him to continue to do more for the people of the federal constituency, Delta State and Nigeria as a whole.
Commenting on the recent empowerment programme, the local Government Chairmen said that the Minority Leader of the House of Representatives has raised the bar in putting smiles on the faces of the people, describing the empowerment event as unprecedented in the history of representative democracy in Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency.
“That day it was obvious you saw smiles on the faces of the people. If you check in this State, if we are talking Delta State for example, how many Constituencies have you seen their House of Reps Member doing such magnitude of empowerment? It has never been done in this State.
“Elumelu has done excellently marvelous and he deserves all the support he can get. If as a representative, he remembers people at the grassroots in each of the local Government that he represents, in line with the mandate given to him, what else should the people be expecting, because that empowerment was massive.
“You listened to the speech of the PDP National Chairman and that of His Excellency, the Governor of our dear State, it wasn’t fallacy, if it wasn’t a profound empowerment, they wouldn’t have said it was. You saw the joy of the people, I think it was something to reckon with.
“My message to him is to continue the good work he is doing. He should not allow people’s side talks to discourage him from the good things he wants to do for the people and the people should also support and cooperate with him in whatever he needs and whatever he does, because we are really very happy with his show of love and concern for our people in Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency,” the Chairman of Oshimili South Local Government, Hon. Obi Kelvin Ezenyili said.
In his own comment, the Executive Chairman of Aniocha South, Hon. Pastor Jude Chukwunweike said, “What Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu is doing is awesome. He has been doing it, he did it last year and I believe, he will continue to do more because he is used to empowering the people.
“This last one he did, in fact I have never seen such in the history of Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency. What he did was very awesome, I love it and I sincerely commend him for using his position to better the lives of the people.
“My message to him is that God will continue to lift him to continue with his good representation and I assure him that as critical stakeholders, we will continue to support and cooperate with him towards ensuring that he continues with his good work for the people at the House of Representatives.
“For the people of Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency, my message is for them to give him the maximum support so that he will continue to give us selfless representation in the House of Representatives.
“I am from Nsukwa, he is building an impressive constituency project in my community. I was among the entourage that went round with him to commission some of his Projects in Nsukwa clan, both Ogwashi-Uku, Ubulu and Nsukwa clan. That was last year, we were together, now he is building another one at Nsukwa. He said that the project is for 2021 and that is what he is doing now.
“So I am appealing to all Aniocha/Oshimili people to give him the maximum support,” the Council Boss stated.
For the Executive Chairman of Aniocha North, Hon. Kevin Okwechime, he sees Elumelu as God sent to the people of Aniocha/Oshimili and Delta State in general, even as he emphasized the need for the people of Aniocha/Oshimili to continue to encourage him with a view to making himself available as a channel of blessing.
“Our leader has continued to exhibit strong faith and commitment to the people at all levels. His grassroots reach is exceptional. Like I will always say, we have never had a representative such as Rt.Hon. Ndudi Elumelu in the National Assembly. I must tell you that I am very proud of him.
“Ndudi Elumelu, my Leader and senior brother is a gift to us in Aniocha/Oshimili, we at the grassroots is happy with his activities. As we are praying for him for God to continue to use him as a source of joy to us in our Federal Constituency, we are assuring him of our support politically and otherwise, because he merited it. Apart from all his empowerment programme since he began his representation in the present House of Representatives, the Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu has effectively used his position to attract meaningful projects in the various communities in Aniocha/Oshimili including your beloved community, Issele-Mkpitime where an ultramodern community town hall is about to be completed.
“He knows what it takes to be a representative of the people, because he believes in the people, he has passion for them and everything he does at the National Assembly is all about the people. He is very good at his calling, let us encourage and support him to do more,” Hon. Okwechime emphasized.
Also reacting to the recent empowerment programme of the Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu, a renowned grassroots politician and great political mobilizer in the Federal Constituency, Hon. Uche Ofuonyeadi had this to say:
“The programme was impressive and rewarding and the people were appreciative. It was the best of its kind, because we had it in 2021, but this last one remains the best. We have never had it so good. It is all over the State, everyone knows that Ndudi Elumelu is an empowerment master; that is what we call him now because he is a Man of his word. He said it and he has fulfilled it again and again.
“And he is such a kind, generous man, sent by God, for the good of the people. He has done well and the message is, we cannot go without our first eleven. If you are going for a football match, you go with you first eleven. So we the people of Aniocha/Oshimili will surely continue to encourage him by working towards returning him to the National Assembly to continue with his proactive representation, because we know that what we are expecting is going to be higher than what we have seen so far.
“In terms of projects, what he has been doing, is laudable and the message is very clear and simple, that Aniocha/Oshimili people will join hands together to return him for our common good and benefit,” he said.
