Executive Chairman of Aniocha North Local Government, Hon. Emma Bazim Chinye on Tuesday was treated to a surprise birthday bash by Management and Staff of the Council.
Leading in putting together the surprise birthday package for the Executive Chairman was the Head of Personnel Management, Mr. Bartrand Ojeh, the Treasurer, Mrs Victoria Fregene and Heads of departments as well as the Chairman of NULGE in the Council.
The unique and colorful event was kept top secret from the Executive Chairman with the active support of the First Lady and wife of the Council boss, Mrs Martina Chinye and the Daughter, Ms Chinye.
It was participated by the Vice Chairman, Hon. Clara Nneka Dibia, the Leader and Members of the Legislative Arm, the Secretary to the Local Government, Supervisors and the Special Adviser as well as other Personal and Political Aides to the Executive Chairman.
Leaders, Political Associates and Friends also joined the Management and Staff of the Local Government to demonstrate love and uncommon loyalty to the Executive Chairman on his birthday anniversary.
The birthday bash commenced with the welcoming of the Executive Chairman from the Council gate by the HPM, the Treasurer and other top management staff.
Trumpeters thereafter led the Executive Chairman through a procession to the Executive Building Complex entrance where he was received by the Wife, the Vice Chairman, the Daughter, Members of the Legislative Arm, Executive Council members as well as Friends and Political Associates.
The procession moved to the chairman’s office where he was visibly elated and overwhelmed by the change in the interior of His office, the imposing 12ft giant birthday card and the beautiful and well designed birthday cake.
Consecrated Praise and worship was rendered by the HPM as well as a brief exaltation and prayers by Hon. Dr. Jaunty Okwudi who also proposed a toast before the cutting of the birthday cake by the Executive Chairman and the wife.
Responding, Hon Chinye expressed joy and gratitude to the Management and staff of the Local Government and said he was humbled by their exceptional show of love to him on his birthday.
He appreciated the wife for secretly joining with the top Management of the Council to show him love and noted that the wife is used to surprising him on his birthday anniversaries.
He thanked the Vice Chairman, the Councillors, the Supervisors, the Special Adviser and all other officers of his administration for joining in celebrating him on his birthday.
Hon. Chinye also appreciated Hon. Dr. Jaunty Okwudi, Hon Engr. Fidel Onwodi, Mrs Dorothy Udeh and other Political Leaders in the Local Government Area for their love and prayers.
Above all, the Council boss ascribed all thanks and glory to the Lord God Almighty and said he will continue to be grateful to Him for the gift of life, even as he pledged to be relentless in the implementation of his administration’s vision of rebuilding Aniocha North Local Government Area for the overall GAINS of the People.
While maintaining that the rebuilding efforts has commenced in earnest, Hon. Chinye urged all to join and remain committed to the efforts and said that the job of rebuilding Aniocha North Local Government Area remains a joint effort from all and sundry.
