Executive Chairman of Aniocha North Local Government, Delta State, Hon. Emma Bazim Chinye has said he is ready and willing to partner with well-meaning Aniocha North indigene in his determination to boost effective and efficient primary health care delivery in the Local Government Area.
Hon Emma Chinye spoke on Thursday in Onicha-Olona while receiving delivery of critical hospital equipment donated by Dr and Dr. Mrs Chidubem Onochie Keshi to the Aniocha North Local Government Primary Health Care Centre, Onicha-Olone.
Items donated includes; Modern Maternity Delivery Bed, Electronic Foetal Stethoscope, Maternity Bed sheets and Pillows as well as Maternity Curtains.
Chinye applauded Dr Keshi and the wife for finding it expedient to donate such medical items to the Primary Health Care center in Onicha-Olona, describing them as an Illustrious Son and Daughter of Aniocha North whose gesture was in line with the More Agenda of the State Governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori.
He said his administration had keyed into the MORE Agenda of the State Governor and that it was for More GAINS for the benefit of the people of Aniocha North
The Council Chairman maintained that the Council in a few days would activate its machinery towards revamping the Primary Health Care center in Onicha-Olona and all others in the various communities for optimum primary health care delivery.
While assuring that maternal and Child health care would be taken seriously by his administration, Hon. Emma Chinye pledged to take care of the antenatal and delivery expenses of about twenty pregnant women who were at the Primary Health Care Center in Onicha-Olona as at the time of the brief presentation ceremony.
He appreciated other eminent sons and daughters of Onicha-Olona and the President General, Sir Patrick Ejidoh, for their show of love and concern for the Onicha-Olona project.
He urged them not to relent in their good deeds, especially now that he is the Executive Chairman of the Local Government, even as he assured that his administration would continue to partner with individuals and community based organizations towards community development in line with his vision of rebuilding the entire Local Government Area in all sectors.
Presenting the items, the donors, Dr and Dr. Mrs Chidubem Onochie Keshi, said their gesture stems from the need to help in bringing about effective and efficient maternal health care delivery in the community primary health care center as well as a show of support to the new administration in Aniocha North under the leadership of Hon. Emma Chinye.
While appreciating the actions taken so far by Hon Emma Chinye within a few days as the Executive Chairman of the Local Government, Dr Onochie Keshi expressed implicit confidence in his ability to lead the area towards uncommon development in the various communities.
He therefore called on well-meaning individuals not to relent in joining forces together with the Chairman in his avid determination to rebuild Aniocha North for the Gains of the People of the area.
With the Executive Chairman at the event was the Chief Whip of the Local Government Legislative Arm, Hon Enyi Zico Ayaegbunam, Councillor ward 17, Onicha-Olona, Hon. Ogbechie Paul Sunday, Executive Secretary of the Local Health Authority, Dr. Anthony Okolo, and the President General, PG, Onicha-Olona Development Union, Sir Patrick Ejidoh.
Highpoint was the guided inspection of the primary health care center and the formal presentation of the medical equipment to the Chairman by the Donors, Dr and Dr. Mrs Chidubem Onochie Keshi.
