The Executive Assistant to the Governor on Media and former Chairman of NUJ in Delta State, Comrade Norbert Chiazor has posited that Idumuje-Unor community has already packaged her 100 percent votes for the PDP in the forthcoming local government election on July 13, 2024.
He made the statement while addressing members of the press at the PDP campaign rally, where the community people trooped our enmass for their daughter and Vice Chairmanship candidate, Lady Nneka Dibia and her principal, Hon. Emma Chinye.
Chiazor who had been on the vanguard to assert and consolidate the strength of the PDP in the community, insisted that the party has eminently recognized the community with a vibrant Councillorship candidate and a well cultured Vice Chairmanship candidate.
The Executive Assistant to the Governor maintained that the complete support of his people to the PDP would amount to a show of gratitude to the Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori who deemed it feat to appoint him and others from the community into his government.
The man known as the wordsmith, however, appreciated leaders and members of the party who brought colour and glamour with their visit to the community, describing their efforts as already paid off venture.
In line with the goodwill Comrade Chiazor and others had brought to the PDP family in Idumuje-Unor, members of other political parties, particularly the APC decamped to the PDP at the rally ground, indicating that the community is solidly united behind PDP and her candidates for the LG Election.
