“This implies a system of government that should be responsible and responsive to the yearning and aspirations of the people; a system that is capable of managing Local resources and services in a manner that will help to raise the living standards of the people, a system that should command respect and support of the people by putting in place a solid administrative structure capable of providing purposeful government for the Area,” the Council Chairman said.

“On our path, not only that we have been able to identify the problems of our people, but we have pragmatically proffered solutions as encapsulated in our G.A.I.N.S agenda.
‘Therefore, in our collective mission to leave Aniocha North better than we met it, we would be bound by a common chord of one mandate – Service to the people of Aniocha North,” he said and expressed hope that the Oath of office and Oath of allegiance they have sworn to, would be upheld in all their activities in the office as Supervisors.
