Leaders, associates, followers, friends, teeming well-wishers and citizens of Aniocha North Local Government on Monday stormed the Onicha-Uku country home of immediate past Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu in further celebration of 60th birthday
Hon. Emma Bazim Chinye, Executive Chairman of Aniocha North led the throng of well-wishers to celebrate Hon. Elumelu who turned 60 on February 23, 2025, while out of the country.
Despite his absence, Elumelu received an outpouring of goodwill messages on social and conventional media from individuals and groups from Aniocha North Local Government Area, Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency, Delta State, Nigeria, and around the world.
Upon his return to Nigeria and Delta State, Elumelu was greeted by a crowd of well-wishers, led by Hon. Emma Chinye, who presented him with gifts including a symbolic giant celebration portrait.
Chinye explained that the visit was a continuation of Elumelu’s birthday celebration, which had begun on February 23.
“This picture frame is from your people, your followers, associates and friends. We would have presented it to you on Sunday the 23rd of February, but because you were not around, we have to wait. We have been celebrating you including in the media, but today we learnt you are around so we decided to come and present this to you.
“This is a token from us to you. We want to let you know that we love you and that the Lord God Almighty will continue to strengthen you. You will continue to move from straight to straight.
“You are a Man of Destiny and we know God in His Infinite Mercy will continue to guide you. 2027 will be a good year for you. We shall all gather together like this to celebrate your return to the House of Representatives in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ,” Hon Emma Chinye prayed.
A visibly joyful Elumelu, expressed gratitude to Hon. Chinye and the people of Aniocha North, Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency and Delta State for their goodwill messages and best wishes.
Elumelu commended Hon. Chinye for his efforts in bringing fairness, peace and unity to Aniocha North, noting that he had won the hearts of the people within a short period.
The celebration concluded with a rousing reception for the guests.
The visit demonstrated the strong bond between Hon. Elumelu and the people of Aniocha North, as well as their appreciation for his leadership and service.
