Emma Chinye who declared that he is a candidate of no single individual but the entire people of Aniocha North, insisted he would uphold the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria whose primary purpose is the security and welfare of the people (Section 14 (2)b).

According to him, “We will renovate our primary healthcare centres, modernise our maternity homes and cottage hospitals and build new ones where necessary, for proper health care delivery to the people.

“We will grade our farm roads to enable farmers have access into their farmlands for cultivation, harvesting, transportation and marketing of their farm produce. Aside that, we will go into acquisition of lands for the purpose of farming, where we shall be allocating portions to individuals and encouraging them with seedlings to go into production of crops of their choices. Depending on their consistency and outputs, we will encourage them going forward.

“We will encourage our mothers and women who are into trade with grants that if properly utilized, they will continue to receive such privilege in the interest of multiplying their economic activities for their own benefit and that of the society.

“Above all, we will invest adequately in the youths. As far as they would engage in skills acquisition and entrepreneurship development, they will be substantially empowered with starter packs that will not only sustain them in life, but their dependants”, Emma Chinye promised.

However, one aspect of his speech that got so much applause was his declaration that the United Bank for Africa, UBA, located in Issele-uku would resume operation as soon as he is inaugurated as Chairman of Aniocha North Local Government in July.

He explained that he had already met and discussed with the bank’s Group Chairman who is an illustrious son of Aniocha North, Mr. Tony Elumelu, and he has promised him that the bank would be opened for operation after the LG Election and his subsequent inauguration.

It was a huge campaign outing as members of the PDP were fully on ground to support the candidacy of Hon. Emma Chinye, his Vice, Lady Nneka Dibia and all the Councillors standing for election on July 13, 2024.

The PDP as a political party also took delivery of a harvest of defectors from other political parties, particularly the APC, at Idumuje-Ugboko where they declared to support their leader, Dr. Ifeanyi Michael Osuoza to work for the PDP going forward.
