“We are here today to celebrate with our people who are core supporters of our dear Governor, His Excellency, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa. We decided to limit the number to ten each from the ten Federal structures we have in Aniocha North, but as you can see, we could not limit the number of people to celebrate.
“Uche Bulu Ofu is a political pressure group with the mandate to serve and support our dear Governor towards finishing strong for the overall benefit of the people of Delta State.
“That is why we have continued to emphasize that where Okowa stands is where we stand. Whatever he directs us to do, is what we are out to do as 2023 draws very near. He is our Father in Delta State.
“All of us here present and members of Uche bulu Ofu are all politicians and we know that another election is just around the corner. As a matter of fact, by next January, the real politics will start.
“However, our mandate and purpose as a group is to tell our people in Aniocha North that they should remain steadfast with the Governor and wait until he directs us on where to follow, knowing full well that when it comes to politics and governance, he remains number one we know. There is nobody you can compare him with. He is a gentle lion.
“So our appeal is for everybody to stand where the Governor stands and wait until he direct us on where to follow, for the fact that with his laudable achievements, recorded for the people of the state, we do not want anybody to come up to destroy all that he has worked for in the State, rather, we need somebody who will continue from where he stopped.
“That is why we have continued to tell the people of our area that where Okowa stand remains where we will stand,” Chief Emma Chinye stated.
The dogged grassroots politician, said that the people of Aniocha North have remained on the right path, stressing that what they are doing was inspired by the Governor, even as he commended Senator Ifeanyi Okowa for being a great source of joy for the people of the area.
There was more than enough to drink and eat at the event, with the distribution of cash and other gift items that included 6 yards branded wrappers, to the people by members of Uche bulu ofu political pressure group.
