Actress Ada Ameh, famous for her role as Emu Johnson in The Johnsons TV series is dead.
It was reported that Ada Ameh died on Sunday around 11 pm in a hospital in Warri, Delta State.
She was said to have been a guest of an oil company’s topshot and his family when she suddenly slumped during a gathering.
She was then rushed to the hospital where she gave up the ghost. The actress shared a video of her eating with the family around 12:53 pm on Sunday on her official Instagram page, hours before she died.
Ada struggled with a mental illness before her death.
She is most notable for her character as Anita in the 1996 movie “Domitilla” and as Emu Johnson in the award-winning Nigerian TV series titled The Johnsons.
Born in Benue State, Ada was 48 years old. Her death has thrown the Nigerian entertainment industry into mourning.
