It was attended by over three thousand delegates from the over 140 Baptist Churches across Delta North Senatorial District,  with renowned Senior Baptist Ministers exposing the word of God, in consonance with the theme of the Conference; “Kingdom People For Kingdom Project.”

In his closing charge, the Conference president and spiritual leader, Rev’d Dr. Paul Anyasi commended the chairman, other executive members of the Conference and the various Associations and indeed local Baptist Churches that made up the Conference, for making themselves God’s instrument in this year’s annual session whereby huge success was recorded.

“Nobody succeeds without helping hands. You the members are the reason for our success this year; you are our helping hands right now.

“The response you gave us this year, the cooperation, the attendance, the maturity displayed, everything makes us so confident that our Conference has a future,” the CP said.

Dr. Anyasi was particularly full of praises for the Moderator and members of the Ika Oliveth Baptist Association, the host Association for their immense contributions towards the success recorded at the Conference Annual Session, saying that they have all demonstrated character and courage.

The President passionately pleaded with the entire membership of the Conference not to relent in their resolve to continue to support the objectives of intensifying efforts towards moving the Conference forward.

He urged them to key into project 5000 by 5000, a move towards raising the needed funds for the completion of critical mapped out projects in the Conference this year.

“We are raising money because we have not achieved our goal. In spite of what you have done, let us key into project 5000 by 5000 and between now and June, we may have accomplished some of the critical projects map out for the conference.

“The theme of this year’s Annual Session is a call to action to build with a view to avoiding shame. What gives me shame is what I protect. If God’s agenda is valuable, we have to protect it.

“We are not asking you to do what you are doing because we need your money. It is because we want to build and avoid shame.

“The kingdom is built by the people of the kingdom and God’s people belong to the Kingdom. Christians in the Anioma Delta Baptist Conference belong to the Conference and they are to build the Conference. The Conference is a perpetual entity; we must build to protect it and to avoid shame. We are the custodian of God’s dignity; every believer is a custodian of God’s dignity,” the spiritual leader of the conference stated.

He later led the huge congregation to impactful prayers where he prayed for generational transfer of prosperity to members of the Conference.

“Whatever you have learned or received or heard from this conference, put it into practice and the God of peace will be with you.
