NDDC New Office Complex: Nwaoboshi Lauds Buhari, National Assembly for Successful Completion By Chijioke Ugbolue

The Chairman of the Senate Committee on Niger Delta Affairs, Senator Peter Nwaoboshi has applauded President Mohammed Buhari and the National Assembly for ensuring the successful completion of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, Office complex.

The NDDC Complex was commissioned Thursday 11th March, 2021, by the Minister of the Niger Delta Affairs, Senator Godwill Akpabio who represented the President in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

In his address at the event, Senator Nwaoboshi who represents Delta North Senatorial district in the Senate, also appreciated the National Assembly as well as the Management of the Commission for being instrumental in the realization of the dream of a reputable and befitting office complex for the NDDC.

He promised that the Senate will continue to support the NDDC and at the same time, ensure integrity of process, through constitutional oversight functions.

“Critical Infrastructure of this magnitude is the live wire of Institutions position to impact on society positively.

“I am happy to be the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Niger Delta Affairs, at this point in time, and therefore can partake in the joy of actualization of the dream.

“Permit me to congratulate the President and commander-in-Chief of the Armed Force of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Mohammed Buhari, the National Assembly, for budgetary provisions and the management for driving the process to a logical conclusion.

“I want to believe that the ambience of this edifice and the comfort it provides, certainly will create an enabling environment for service delivery of the highest standard. I want to urge the management and staff to make the best use of the edifice.

“On my part and that of my colleagues in the Senate, I want to assure all and sundry that my committee will continue to support this institution, whilst, at the same time providing our constitutional oversight functions to ensure integrity of process and administrative credibility,” Senator Nwaoboshi stated.
