The Final journey home of late Dr. Mrs Esther Obinya, a renowned Medical Icon, commenced on Sunday 8th November, 2020 with dedicated hymns and songs in her honour at the Cathedral of St Michaels, Kaduna, Kaduna State.
Late Dr. Mrs. Esther Obinya, an accomplished Paediatrics Doctor, transited to eternal glory on Sunday 18th October, 2020 at their Kaduna home at age 69.
Monday, 9th November, 2020 was dedicated to the Life and Times of the late Medical Icon, known for her courage, determination and selflessness. The sublime event was held at the Cathedral of St Michaels, Kaduna and was attended by who is who in the Medical profession, within and outside Nigeria.
According to a statement by the family, made available to cshowcasenews.com, there will be a Night of Tributes in her honour at the Cathedral of St Michaels located along Ibrahim Taiwo Road, Kaduna, on Tuesday, 10th November, 2020, while a ceremony dedicated for Praise and Candle Light in her honour will be hosted on the night of Wednesday, 11th November, beginning at the same venue by 5pm respectively.
On Thursday, 12th November, 2020, there will be a Christian wake and lying in state at the Christ Anglican Church Katsina Road, Kaduna by 5pm, with the funeral service slated for Friday 13 November, 2020 at the Same Church. Her interment follows immediately after the funeral service.
The Thanksgiving service in her honour has been scheduled to hold on Sunday, 15thNovember, 2020 at the Christ Anglican Church Katsina Road, Kaduna, Kaduna State.
Late Dr. Mrs Esther Obinya is survived by her Husband, Venerable Hope Obinya, the Children, Grand Children and in-laws, including Chief Henry Nonso Ugbolue, Chairman/MD Great & Gamalial Aliance Nigeria Limited, Abuja.
