Immediate past Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu, OON, has expressed deep grief and sadness over the sudden demise of Mrs. Shimite Love, Special Adviser to the Delta State Governor on Trade and Export.
Mrs. Love passed away on Monday, April 21, 2025.
Elumelu in a statement on Tuesday, described Mrs. Love as an embodiment of humility and intellectual capacity, who contributed immensely to the growth and victory of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ebu, Oshimili North Local Government Area.
Elumelu lamented her sudden death and said that Mrs Love’s legacy as a leading member of the PDP and her contributions to the party’s success will be greatly missed, saying that She was a very good Sister and will surely be missed by him in particular.
He condoled with the State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, the family, and the people of Ebu as well as the entire people of Oshimili North Local Government Area and said her demise remains a great loss to the State in general.
He prayed to God to comfort her loved ones, give them the fortitude to bear her irreparable loss and grant her soul eternal repose.
