Anioma Delta Baptist Conference 11th Annual Session Ends on a High Note

The 11th Annual Session of the Anioma Delta Baptist Conference came to a glorious close on Sunday, February 23, in Asaba, Delta State.

The three-day event, which began on Thursday, February 20, 2025, was presided over by Conference President Rev’d Dr. Dike Godspower Utih.

Over 5,000 delegates from various Baptist denominations in Delta North District attended the spirit-filled conference, themed “Manifesting God’s Presence.”

Conference Chairman Rev’d Dr. Monday Opone declared the session closed during the final ceremony.

Renowned Baptist preachers Rev’d Dr. Chika Ossai-Ugbah and Rev’d Dr. Olu Aibinuomo ministered throughout the program, delivering powerful messages on “Reverse It,” “Divine Settlement,” “Divine Favour,” and Theme Development. Their messages were accompanied by spirit-filled music from the Anioma Delta Baptist Mass Choir.

The conference featured various sessions, including those for the Men’s Missionary Union (MMU), Women’s Missionary Union (WMU), Youth Fellowship, Deacon’s Fellowship, and Pastor’s Fellowship.

Royal Ambassadors, Lydia Auxiliary, Girls’ Auxiliary, and Sunbeam Fellowship also had their sessions.

The closing ceremony witnessed the ordination of six pastors into the Nigerian Baptist Convention.

Rev’d Dr. Paul Friday Anyasi, immediate past Conference President, led the newly ordained pastors in pledging their loyalty to God and the church.

In his closing charge, Rev’d Dr. Dike Utih expressed gratitude to the leadership and entire conference for their support.

He emphasized the benefits of God’s manifest presence, citing Exodus 33:14-16.

Dr. Utih urged believers to hold on to God, stressing that carriers of God would always experience His manifest presence.

The Anioma Delta Baptist Mass Choir, led by the Conference Music Director, provided spirit-filled music throughout the annual session, glorifying the Lord God Almighty.
