The Delta State Local Government Service Commission is mounting a 3-day training workshop/seminar for senior officials of Local Government Councils in the State.
The venue for the training has been scheduled to hold at Wetland Hotel Ughelli.
In a circular letter signed by the Commission’s Director of Training ,Mrs Scholastica Bolum, the Seminar will commence by 9 in the morning on Tuesday 11th , to end Thursday 13th February 2025.
According to the letter, 175 Personnel from the 25 Local Government Councils in the State have been invited to participate in the Seminar with the theme, “Place of Fiscal Responsibility In The Promotion of Fiscal Discipline For Efficient & Effective Service Delivery”.
The letter specifies those to participate to include, the 2nd in command to the Heads of Personnel Management, Heads of Works, Environment, Budget Planning, Research and Statistics Departments and Apex Nurses, Internal Auditors as well as Officers in Charge of Salaries.
The letter added that, attendance to the seminar is mandatory and participants are to be seated before 9:00 am, as opening formalities shall commence immediately.
