Chief Nkem Okwuofu, renowned Political Leader in Delta State has felicitated the State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Francis Oborevwori on the honour bestowed on him as the THISDAY/ARISE Governor of the year Award by the management of THISDAY Newspaper and ARISE Television.
Okwuofu described the award, presented to the Governor on Monday in an impressive ceremony held at the Eko Hotels and Suites, Lagos, as well as other numerous awards given to him as a clear attestation of his efforts and dogged commitment to the well-being of the people of the state.
In a statement on Tuesday, Okwuofu said that through the Governor’s efficient and effective leadership style that is embedded in the concept of transparency and prudence, Delta State has continued to witness unprecedented growth and development in all sectors.
Chief Okwuofu who is a member of the State advisory and elders Council commended the Management of THISDAY Newspaper and ARISE Television for their unbiased choice of the Governor for the prestigious award, maintaining that the Governor through his MORE Agenda has continued to be proactive, demonstrate fairness, and balance in the distribution of developments in all sectors across the three senatorial districts in the State since his assumption of office.
“My dear Excellency, our beloved Governor, you have no doubt continued to make us proud through your dogged efforts in putting smiles on the faces of our people across the state through unprecedented growth in all sectors of the state economy while putting the concept of prudence and transparency into consideration.
