Five nominees of the Executive Chairman of Aniocha North Local Government, Hon. Emma Bazim Chinye, to the office of Supervisors have been screened and ratified by the Legislative Arm of the Local Government.
Their appointments were ratified on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at the sitting of the Legislative Arm, presided over by the Leader, Hon. Raphael Babor Uzor.
The screening and ratification of their appointments was sequel to a motion to that effect moved by the Majority Leader, Hon. Blessing Chinyera Nkeabu, seconded by the Chief Whip, Hon. Ziko Enyi Ayagbunam.
Those screened and appointments ratified include, Ikechukwu Onwuemene, Ugbo Williams Chuks, Ebegbuna Louis Obiajulu, Maduka Frank Isiekwenemgbu and Hon. Queen Ukamaka Ndubuokwu.
The appointees were presented by their respective Councillors who spoke well of them when they were brought into the chamber for screening.
Meanwhile, the Executive Chairman of Aniocha North Local Government, Hon Emma Bazim Chinye will on Wednesday July, 24, 2024, preside over the swearing in of the newly appointed Supervisors.
According to a statement on Tuesday, the venue for the event has been scheduled to be held at the Aniocha North Local Government Skills Acquisition and Multi-purpose Centre, located at the premises of the Local Government Council Secretariat, Issele-Uku.
The event will commence by 12 noon prompt.
The newly appointed Supervisors, their guests as well as others slated to be at the event are expected to be seated at the venue by 11:30 in the morning.
