The immediate past Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu has congratulated the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, on his victory at the Governorship Election Petition Tribunal which today upheld his election at the March 18, 2023 Governorship election in the State.
Rt. Hon Elumelu in a congratulatory message to Governor Oborevwori today, said that the verdict of the Tribunal is a reinforcement of the Will of the people of Delta State who overwhelmingly voted for the Governor at the poll.
According to Elumelu, “this verdict of the Tribunal reinforces the triumph of the Will of the people of Delta State in their determination to ensure sustained good governance, peace, infrastructural development and economic prosperity in the State as epitomized in the election of Governor Oborevwori.
“The reverberating jubilation across Delta State is a loud testimony of the fact that Governor Oborevwori’s election is a direct reflection of the aspiration of majority of the people of Delta State, as evidenced in his overwhelming victory at the poll.
“To the admiration of all Deltans, since his inauguration on May, 29, 2023, Governor Oborevwori has continued to demonstrate an exceptional capacity for purposeful, transparent, people-based and development-oriented leadership in the State to the Glory of God”, he said.
Elumelu prayed to God to continue to bless Governor Oborevwori with good health, wisdom, strength and grace to effectively bring to bear his wealth of experience, capacity and competence in leading Delta State to higher heights.
