I received the heartbreaking news of the death of Tunde Mark, the first son of our highly respected leader, former President of the Senate, Senator David Mark, with shock and intense grief.
My heart goes out to Senator David Mark, his wife and Tunde’s siblings at this moment of sorrow and anguish.
Tunde was a very dutiful, respectful and reliable son, a brilliant, courteous and focused gentleman who loved humanity and held within his spirit the vision of a better Nigeria particularly for the youths.
His death comes as a huge blow not only to the Mark family but also to the nation especially at this time when his youthful energy, learning and expertise are needed thence most in our country.
The Minority Caucus in the House of Representatives shares in the pain of the Mark family. Our hearts grieve; we love Tunde but the Lord Jesus loves him the most and knows why He called him home at this time.
We pray to the Almighty God, in his Grace, to comfort Senator Mark and his family and give us all the fortitude to bear this devastating loss.
